At Givin’ it Laldie we are really lucky to have a very active, supportive Board of Directors who volunteer their time, energy and experience to guide us towards a bright future. They take responsibility for issues such as funding, safeguarding, financial management, HR and much much more. Without them Givin’ it Laldie wouldn’t be able to function and we are very grateful for each and every one of them.
Last year we did a recruitment drive to invite new people to join our board and we are very excited to introduce to some of our new members.

I am
Rowan Boase
I wanted to get involved in a community group and had heard about all the fantastic work that Givin’ it Laldie do. I’ve always enjoyed playing music – in my spare time I can often be found trying to keep up in a folk session! Music means a lot to me – it picks you up when you’re down, and it allows you to be creative and to connect with others. A favourite song of mine is Blackbird by the Beatles because of its message of hope. I’m really excited to get more involved in Givin’ it Laldie!
Wendy Joss
Hi, I’m Wendy and I joined the board as I wanted to get involved in a community project and Givin it Laldie seemed like the perfect opportunity. My interests include running, painting and live music – I think music is a great tonic and really brings people together.
We would like to welcome Gillian, Rowan and Wendy to the Givin’ it Laldie family and also give a huge thank you to our other board members:
Rev. Ian Galloway
Joan Barclay
Anna Barclay
Jo Whiteford
Graeme Young
Brett Nicholls
Ania Owsianka
Laura Dover
You are very important to us and we appreciate all your dedication and hard work to the charity!
